A TRUE ARTFORM: Las Hermanas Sweet Paprika, a true artisan Spanish Paprika, is obtained by grinding red peppers previously smoked with oak wood.

Traditional smoke-drying gives Las Hermanas its unique aroma and flavor. This technique has been in place for decades with the Las Hermans company, a long-standing family run business.

THE SMOKY FLAVOR YOU WILL WANT: Las Hermanas Pimentón de La Vera brings in a second dimension with its lingering, food-friendly flavor: no violence, just taste and great punctuation with the background warmth.

MADE WITH LOVE: Pimentón de La Vera is a smoky "paprika" from La Vera in Extremadura, Spain. It is always smoky—dried traditionally over indirect-heat oak fires for ten to fifteen days, and finished over a slightly warmer fire for three more days. This process takes the ripe peppers to a low percentage of moisture, preserving flavor and color and imbuing them with the classic DOP smokiness.
