The incredible and rich heritage of Achille Paladini is reflected in his wonderful line of seafood sauces.

A. Paladini began fishing the San Francisco Bay and selling his catch in 1865. The company grew, and for over 125 years, the name Paladini became synonymous with Fisherman's Wharf and seafood, as Paladini ran the largest seafood fishing and distribution company ever seen on the west coast.

Paladini was the first to can tuna, to smoke fish, and to introduce cold storage in his seafood distribution business. Indeed, San Francisco icons such as Fisherman's Wharf, where Paladini brought his catch, the Trans America tower (where originally A. Paladini had his fish processing plant and later sold the land to Transamerica so they could build the pyramid), and even the word 'cioppino' (which Achille Paladini is said to have coined) have their roots in the long and storied history of Achille Paladini.
